Opencast mine from the air

The good old brown coal. We still need them somehow. Where harvesting is on the surface or underground is too risky (as in Hambach), huge holes are dug in the ground.

A big dream came true with a flyover over the two opencast mines.

When you fly over you get a real impression of the size of the work and the encroachment on nature.
