- the term actually comes from the computer industry and means that certain functions or screens are hidden in programs or games.
So there are many small things hidden in the miniature world. My goal was to discover at least 20 of these hidden scenes. I ended up with about 70 and I know there are many, many more.
So the builders seem to love penguins (I just counted) - so there are penguins in the bathtub, as sled dogs, ski jumpers, travelers on the platform, musicians and many more. If you look closely you can see many classic films, whether Star Wars (Han Solo, Chewbacca, Ewoks), Little Red Riding Hood and the Seven Dwarfs, Back to the Future, Badman, Spiderman, Play Me a Song of Death, Marvin - the depressed robot from The Hitchhiker's Guide the Galaxy, Harry Potter, Bruce Lee, Jim Button and Luke the Engine Driver, the Smurfs and many others.
But Otto is also represented with his Ottifants, photographers photographing models behind windows, monks playing soccer, cats pushing shopping trolleys, the Mona Lisa - and many, many more.
